Privacy Policy

Z-TECX (PVT) LTD ("Z-TECX", "we", "us") runs ztecx.com and the client portal at portal.ztecx.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect through them, why we collect it, who processes it for us, and the choices you have.

Who is responsible

Z-TECX (PVT) LTD, Colombo, Sri Lanka, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about anything in it at info@ztecx.com.

What we collect, and why

• Contact form: your name and email address, plus the company, phone number, area of interest and message you choose to give us. We use them to reply to you and follow up on your enquiry.
• Digital Maturity Assessment: your answers, and the details you enter to receive your report. We use them to produce and email your report and, if you ask us to, to follow up with you.
• Job applications: your name, email address, and the phone number, LinkedIn profile, education, experience, message and CV you choose to send. We use them only to consider you for roles at Z-TECX.
• Client portal: account details for you and your colleagues (name, email address and sign-in credentials), and the project information we exchange with you there. We use them to provide the services in your contract with us.
• Website and portal assistants: the messages you type, which are used to generate the assistant's replies.
• Visits to the website: we count visits with Plausible Analytics, which is designed not to use cookies or collect personal information. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, which we use for security and troubleshooting.

How we use AI

Some of this information is processed by Google's Gemini AI models on our behalf:

• to summarise and prioritise contact-form enquiries for our team;
• to analyse your assessment answers and write your report;
• to read a CV you upload and pre-fill the application form for you to check;
• to answer questions put to the website and portal assistants.

These results help our team respond to you.

Who processes it for us

We use these service providers, who process personal information on our behalf:

• Google Cloud and Firebase: hosting, database, file storage and sign-in, on servers in the United States (us-central1).
• Microsoft 365: email delivery, and the SharePoint lists where enquiries and assessment results are recorded.
• Google Gemini: the AI processing described above.
• Plausible Analytics: visit statistics.

We do not sell personal information.

International transfers

Our service providers process information outside Sri Lanka, including in the United States.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@ztecx.com.

Cookies

The public website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising. If you sign in to the client portal, your browser stores a session so that you stay signed in.

Security

Our Security page (ztecx.com/security) describes how the platform is hosted and protected, and lists the providers above.

Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date below.
